 :: a happy belated thanksgiving to all the american readers! thanksgiving is not celebrated here but i really enjoyed reading beautiful thanksgiving posts here and here that were about being thankful :: i like the idea of having a celebration about to be thankful for the things that you have :: to think about what you have and to see what is :: to be in the moment :: and really appreciate it :: :: i find this sometimes difficult :: being caught up in a lot of work, being tired, it comes easy only to worry about things that are missing :: i'd like to see more what i have and what is :: i take the occasion to be thankful: :: for walking to work this morning without haste in beautiful air and sunshine :: for seeing a big boulder sparkle in the sunshine along the sidewalk :: pink lady apples :: for my new nice colleague who chatted the morning away with me :: for my friend who came by and cheered me up with her humor :: for my husbands love that amazes and touches me every day :: for having less migranes :: chocolate jelly bananas :: for werder winning over chelsea :: for seeing a tall, slender and very beautiful woman of age step out of a very off-beat hair-dresser salon - what a sight - this afternoon :: for being healthy and alive :: for my dark blue velvet trench-coat :: and for the many beautiful and inspiring blog-posts that i have been reading recently :: thank you :: :: also thanksgiving inspired :: there will be a feasty dinner tonight for me and the best t of all :) :: another audio link :: a song i recently discovered :: sufjan stevens :: holland posted by anne Nov 24, 2006 - 17:56 archived under: all, flowers & plants, polaroid all images under copyright © all rights reserved
