![]() :: the still life :: it can happen anytime :) :: i think this is my interpretation of wabi sabi :: this was when i was cutting up the tulip stems :: could this be wabi sabi? :: :: which brings me to the subject :: i like the internet so much, because through the internet and all those amazing blogs around i could find out about all these beautiful japanese things that i came across lately :: if there wouldn't have been the internet and wonderland 'blogland' i certainly would never have found out about the beauty of japanese craft-books in the north of germany :: so, today i try to pay tribute to japanese inspiration :: some of this thanks to the lovely marie who always seems to find this beauty :: :: there are the always beautiful clothes by :: mina perhonen :: :: i'm also very much in love with this store :: fog linen work :: :: then there is :: sloe :: :: the most beautiful fabrics are at :: linnet :: :: a few days ago abby made me discover :: coton clothing :: :: and then there are these cute patterns :: nani IRO :: :: because of the patterns above i'm seriously rethinking my rule on sewing : only square and straight things for me like pillowcovers and the like :: i jused to sew quite some outfits when i was younger but stopped somehow :: there are some really cute nani IRO tunic-patterns, so maybe i give it another try :: although they would need some serious altering : when i looked at the measures i had to laught out loud because the last time those sizes would have fitted me would be aproximately at the time i was ten :) :: i'm rather of the tall bunch :: a european girl after all :: with a lot of japanese inspiration :: posted by anne Mar 04, 2008 - 18:01 archived under: all, pretty things all images under copyright © all rights reserved
