:: hello :: :: hope your weekend was good :: here i was hit by a cold :: just when i thought *this is a quick one* it is now playing for an extended stay :: patience is needed :: which is not my strongest asset :: :: some thoughts :: on all kinds of things :: :: things have been heavy on the administrative side here lately :: taxes, insurances and those kind of things :: i need more creativity :: after having finished the portfolio site i wonder what i pick up next :: as usual there is no shortage of plans and ideas rather the question of what of those i actually pick up :: there are larger ideas and smaller ones :: things need to be followed :: thinking about new photographic toys to pick up :: thinking of stopping to take polaroids :: or maybe give them a different tune :: having an itch for shooting black and white :: in general a lot of things to do :: the saying *when in a hurry, walk more slowly* :: thinking about the economic crisis :: those figures and numbers have reached a point where they turned incomprehensible to me :: are they to you? :: :: added to my book-wishlist recently :: this beautiful book by caroline halley des fontaines :: there's a beautiful slideshow on the photographers website :: :: more pretty french things are here :: sessùn :: via wiksten:: :: cheers all ::

:: while beeing all very busy with preparing my new portfolio site, my show and some bread and butter work :: i managed to get away for a few days to denmark :: above you see some glorious danish ice-cream :: coming in very large servings :: and a trout :: one of two (!) proudly caught by my brother :: it was put on a barbecue and it was so good :: :: i make this my *i love denmark* post :: it is one of my favorite places in europe :: especially in the summer :: there are many things one can love about denmark :: :: i love the beaches :: the summer cottages :: the danish interior style :: the general friendlyness of the people :: the fact that there is a word like *roedebedefarvende* in the danish language :: meaning *the color of red beets* as one of my friends recently pointed out to me :: the ice-cream :: the hot-dogs :: the latter sometimes coming in the most amazing colors :: the fact that seabuckthorn and rosehip are a regular in the jam-isle in stores :: and not forget the glorious danish pastry :: never miss a bakery in that county i say ;) :: and who doesn't love arne jacobsen? :: :: here are some danish goodies to check out :: royal copenhagen :: they have given their traditional and very beautiful - and much liked by me - blue fluted pattern a make-over by designer louise campbell :: lighthearted and airy :: click here for :: elements by royal copenhagen:: :: so lovely :: :: here's some more danish fashion to enjoy :: :: inwear :: :: wood wood :: :: won hundred :: :: day birger et mikkelsen :: :: and of course there's :: noa noa :: although i tend to look really ridicioulous in their clothes :: again proven in first hand experience this summer :: i still appreciate what they do ;) :: :: i'm hoping to be able to catch some sun later today as it is really beautiful here :: hope it is as sunny where you are ::
